 In an era of increasing environmental awareness and consciousness, sustainability is now an integral part of weddings. Couples are opting for a more eco-friendly approach such as sourcing locally grown flowers, choosing organic and seasonal menus, creating their own stationery including DIY wedding invitations and reducing waste through mindful planning. Sustainable décor including biodegradable confetti, and reusable table settings are gaining popularity with couples in 2024.

Intimate Weddings:

The trend towards smaller, and more intimate weddings continue to gain momentum in 2024. Couples are choosing guest lists comprised of close family and friends, allowing for more meaningful interactions and connections. This means the couple can spend quality time with each guest on their special day.

Elopement:

Couples are leaning more towards eloping in 2024. You may ask why? People elope for a variety of reasons; these motivations can differ from one couple to another. Some of the most common reasons is to have a more intimate and private exchange of vows in an intimate setting away from the scrutiny and expectations of the larger audience. Eloping can be more cost effective, the cost of a traditional wedding can be quite expensive, eloping offers a budget friendly alternative. It may sound crazy, but some couples choose to elope to avoid family drama. Yep, that’s right! Couples choosing to elope to avoid the conflict between Aunty Sheryl and Uncle Bob is very common.

Wedding content creators are becoming increasingly popular. Couples are seeking ways to personalize their weddings and infuse them with their own unique style and personality. Weddings are inherently emotional and visually compelling events, making them ideal subjects through photography and videography,. This allows for wedding content creators to capture the behind the scenes associated with your wedding day.
