6 tips for attending our Bridal Expos in 2022

It’s certainly been 2 years filled with ups and downs! But we’re really looking forward to 2022 and kicking off our year of expos with the Melbourne Bridal and Wedding Expo on Sunday 16th January 2022!

Our expos are filled with lots of inspirational and knowledgeable exhibitors, so here’s our top 6 tips for attending our bridal expos to make sure you can make the most of your time and leave the expo feeling positive and more prepared for your big day!

1. Get your tickets online and early

It pays to be organised and buy your expo ticket online before the expo date. You can still buy tickets to our Melbourne Expo in January 2022 at our special online price and you can also buy tickets to all of our 2022 regional expos (Warragul, Ballarat, Mornington, Geelong, Pakenham & Plumpton) online.

2. Fill your support crew with people you trust and bring them with you

Big or small, have your bride tribe or support crew with you at our bridal expos – and make sure they are trusted people that will help lift you up and really support you. They can help you with decision making or providing helpful opinions and insights while at the expo and after. They can also make the day more exciting.

3. List the questions you want answered at the expo

Bridal expos deliver plenty of ideas and the opportunity meet a variety of bridal suppliers, but the last thing you want to do is leave without having the key information you need. Doing a little prep work and making sure you have a list of the questions you want answered will help you seek out the information you need and keep you on point!

4. Know when the fashion parades start and keep an eye on the time

At our major Melbourne expos in January and June we host fashion parades that are very popular. To avoid missing out on seeing the stunning gowns and suits by Australia’s top bridal designers and boutiques make sure you know when the fashion parades are being held. Our fashion parades are usually at 11am and 1pm, so get there a little earlier to get a great spot to watch!

5. Know your budgets and stick to them

When talking with exhibitors make sure you know what your budget is and stick to it. Falling in love with an exhibitor’s services only to later find that they are out of your budget can be disappointing. It may also be difficult to find a replacement that works within your budget. To avoid any disappointment, have a clear idea of what your budgets are for each element of your wedding before you start talking with exhibitors.

6. Have fun!

Wedding planning can sometimes feel overwhelming, but a day out with your partner or your support crew will be fun. Make the most of it!

That wraps up our tips, we hope they’re helpful! We can’t wait to see you at one of our bridal expos in 2022!
