Q: What has been your favourite look down the aisle for 2017 so far?

Holly: My favourite look down the aisle for 2017 so far would have to be the caped gown as featured in our Madison James Collection. We are seeing more and more designers adding this feature to their bridal gowns making their gowns unique and alluring.

Q: Who’s celeb wedding photos have you been stalking lately?

Nothing can compare to the modern fairy-tale wedding of Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello, with a room full of draped flowers to the celebrity guest list and of course her Zuhair Murad Couture dress featuring a detachable train, to reveal a fitted dress to show off her beautiful curves. The strapless gown displayed endless sequins, pearls and crystals that would sparkle each time a glimpse of light shown on it.

Q: In your opinion, what is making trend in Bridal & Menswear fashion this year?

Definitely illusion backs and panels, we are seeing more and more designers show off their take on the illusion backs with draped beading featured across the back of gowns, lace appliques showing a hint of skin too.

Q: Any specific materials or styles that you would like to see more of?

I would love to see more unique embroidery and illusion sleeves being used. I think these are a beautiful feature to display on a wedding dress and are becoming more popular, but are still quite limited in what is on offer.

Q: We know you have many favourite designers – but if you had to choose, which one is standing out this season?

My favourite gown which stands out for me this season would have to be the Allure Bridals 9425 (featured below), this tiered tulle ball gown features whispers of platinum and champagne, redefining the fairy-tale wedding gown.
