After 2020 and 2021 it’s been so good to see engaged couples celebrating with their loved ones again in 2022. And the love, laughter and happy times will continue in 2023!
We can’t wait to get our 2023 bridal expos started with The Melbourne Bridal and Wedding Expo on Sunday 15 January.
You’ll find that our expos are filled with lots of inspirational and knowledgeable exhibitors. To ensure you make the most of your time and leave our expos feeling positive and more prepared for your big day here’s some tips for attending our bridal expos in 2023.
1. Get your tickets early online
Being organised pays off, so buy your expo ticket online before the expo date. You can buy tickets to The Melbourne Bridal and Wedding Expo in January 2023 at our special online price and you can also buy tickets to all of our 2023 regional expos online (Warragul, Ballarat, Mornington, Rowville, Plumpton, Pakenham, Werribee, Morwell, Stawell and Geelong).
2. Bring your support crew
Fill your wedding support crew with people you trust, that will help lift you up and really support you. And bring them to the bridal expo with you! They can help you with decision making or providing helpful opinions and insights while at the expo and after. They can also make the day even more fun.
3. Make notes before the expo
To avoid leaving one of our bridal expos without the key information you want make sure you have a list of the questions you want answered. Being prepared will help you get the information you need. Bridal expos deliver plenty of ideas and the opportunity meet a variety of bridal suppliers, so make the most of it!
4. Take notes and photos at the expo
With so much information on offer, it’s essential to bring a note pad and pen to jot down important suppliers’ names, details and ideas so nothing is forgotten! There are many vendors exhibiting at our Melbourne Bridal Expos so keeping track of who have you have spoken to and any key details you receive, ensures you leave with all the information you need! Taking photos of products and samples can also help you with your decision-making process.
Grab as many business cards and brochures as you can from your favourite wedding vendors so you have their contact information.
5. Keep an eye on the time
At our major Melbourne expo in January fashion parades will showcase stunning gowns and suits by Australia’s top bridal designers and boutiques. Our fashion parades are popular. To avoid missing out on a seat make sure you know when the parades are on and keep an eye on the time. Our fashion parades are usually at 11am and 1pm, so get there a little earlier to get a great spot to watch!
6. Stay on budget
Know your budget and don’t budge from it. Falling in love with an exhibitor’s services only to later find that they are out of your budget can be disappointing. It may also be difficult to find a replacement that works within your budget. To avoid any disappointment, have a clear idea of what your budgets are for each element of your wedding before you start talking with exhibitors.
7. Have fun!
Wedding planning can sometimes feel overwhelming, but a day out with your partner or your support crew will be fun. Make the most of it!
